What drew me to Cardiology: As an internal medicine Resident, I was immediately attracted to the care of critically ill patients. Several cardiologists at Guthrie provided unparalleled mentorship and allowed me to participate in procedures that most Residents would not have the opportunity to be engaged in. I was immediately smitten, realizing that Interventional Cardiology would be an ideal fit for me.
What do I like to do in my free time: I love nothing more than spending time with my family. These days, that involves more traveling, both domestic and international. I’ve dabbled in auto “racing”, spending time at Watkins Glen Race Track as well as tracks in 康涅狄格 and 麻萨诸塞州. I’, always interested in what’s current worldwide, including politics, climate change and other environmental and social issues.

What drew me to Cardiology: I did a work study in cardiology during my medical assistant training which lead to a permanent position as Medical office assistant. I continued that path here at Guthrie after relocating to the area. Happy to have stuck with cardiology when the position opened up for Cardiovascular 研究员hip 协调员, I knew that was the right next step.

What do I like to do in my free time: I enjoy drawing, reading or shopping either instore or online.

What drew me to Cardiology: The heart is the most important organ! Cardiac physiology and pathology has always fascinated me and had a close place in my heart (no pun intended). The more I continue to learn, the more I appreciate how much I don't know and how much there is yet to learn. The constantly evolving field of cardiology drives me to always ask why and seek further understanding. My personal interests within the field are in interventional cardiology and advancing #WomenInCardiology!
What do I like to do in my free time: Being outside - you can find me at the beach or doing water sports in the summer, skiing in the winter, or hiking national parks in the fall and spring. My biggest stress relievers are running and lifting weights. I also have the best niece and nephews who make life so fun!
